In early 2000 we started to build up our program for the Biotech Industry by cooperation with Bioengineering.
As for our technology group Chemical Process (CP) we started with the heart of the process, the bioreactor or fermentor. Since then we have continuously updated and developed our program and included buffer preparation, media handling, process filtration, membrane technology and all kind of Disposable Technology.
Disposable Technology is our newest and fastest growing area. Our ambition is to create a complete program also including down stream processing part, such as membranes, centrifuges, filter etc.
Further components can be found in our technology group Powder Processing System (PPS) were all equipment concerning containment is handled, such as charging of powder etc.
Certain sites such as production of antibiotics could also be of combined processes were the final steps are using dryers and centrifuges as for the API / Fine Chemical industry. These products will be handled by our technology group chemical process (CP).
